What are the Authentication mechanisms supported by Hubway?

Hubway Builder supports Google and Azure AD as authentication mechanisms, which allows you to seamlessly log in through Single Sign On using your corporate credentials. The Builder will automatically redirect you to the Google/Azure login screen, you need to select your user account in the dialogue box, and you’re in.

Alternatively, you may also use an OutSystems login credential that might be set up for your specific business use case. Reach out to your OutSystems managers for more information on the setup currently available at your company.

Hubway Runtime API supports only Basic OutSystems authentication at this point. The Project Owner/ User Manager should create an OutSystems username and password through the OutSystems Users app and share it with the Data Analyst who is consuming the Test or Production service links.

There is a plan to expand this to token-based authentication in future.
